Rogoznica is a peaceful Mediterranean town situated in the peninsula, formerly an islet called Kopara, which was connected to the mainland by an artificial embankment in the second half of the 19th century. The larger part of the island is covered with forest, while the inhabited part is dominated by old stone houses that exude the charm of the Mediterranean as it once was.
